Isabelle reports that they rode the ferry and arrived in Wales. They went to the Great Orme Copper Mine. She thought it was pretty cool. They also rode a toboggan slide and everyone had a fabulous time. They are at a youth hostel I believe - that's what her text read. She closed quickly since it was bed check time. The top photo is from a 4:30 am wake up for the ferry ride : )

We have heard from our daughter Danielle.
ReplyDeleteSeveral text messages each short and to the point. They are very busy and ready for bed. She is having a wonderful time and doing great. She is in love with the beautiful landscape.
We can't wait for her return to hear about the experience in great detail.
We have heard from Sarah. She is fine and enjoying every minute of their adventure. Her voice is bubbly & full of fun. She said the food has been good but she is tired of potatoes. Apparently, in Ireland, every meal they had some potatoe dish, who would have guessed, lol. Heard other kids in the background shouting out fun things too. Sounds like all is well & there will be many stories to tell when they arrive home.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard from Andrew for a week . Jodi texted me to let me know he was ok. The pics are great. He was really nervous about going. His phone has not had any bars. I hope that he has taken pics and had others take pics of him. He gets shy and will not ask. Maybe Isabelle can let him know he's thought of, and send love. I hope he's having a blast.
